My name is Erica Silva. I was born and raised in Brazil and have lived in the United States for the past 24 years, where I built my family and professional career. Being deeply connected to my cultural roots has always been an important part of who I am, and this value continues to guide both my personal and professional life.
I am married and the mother of two daughters. Carolyne is 20 years old and currently in her third year of college at Emerson College, and Gabrielle is a freshman in high school. Raising my children in a bilingual and multicultural environment has been a priority, and both are fluent in Portuguese and English. I also speak Spanish, which allows me to better serve and connect with diverse communities.
With over 10 years of experience working as a Home Visitor and Parent Support professional, my work is centered on strengthening families and supporting parents in meaningful ways. In my professional career, I always strive to meet parents where they are, offering guidance and encouragement that promotes strong parent engagement. This approach reflects a deep commitment to empowering families, respecting their experiences, and fostering positive outcomes for children and caregivers alike.
