“I’m passionate about my work with Families First because all children need at least one positive, nurturing relationship with a parent or caregiver. With this foundation of love and support, they can grow up to pursue their dreams and make the world a more beautiful place.”
Jill joined Families First in July 2014, and she manages the organization’s marketing, communications, public relations, and institutional giving work.
Prior to this, she worked for several years on the financial development team at the American Red Cross of Massachusetts. She brings creativity and expertise in writing, grants strategy, and relationship building to her role.
Jill began her career in nonprofit management after graduating with a BA in English from the University of Vermont and traveling to Southeast Asia, where she volunteered with several education-based organizations. Upon returning, she joined Boston’s nonprofit community to use writing and storytelling to help local populations in need.
Jill also received an MS in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University, and she is the proud mother of a toddler son and infant daughter.
