Mariana worked as the Program Director for the Education and Training Department at an innovative Psychology consultancy startup where she designed and implemented trainings, workshops, and courses.
She has over 12 years of experience as an expert facilitator in Mexico and Boston. She worked as a professor at Univerisdad Cuauhtemoc campus Aguascalientes. While in Mexico, Mariana worked as the Educational Psychologist Commissioner of the Official Association of Psychologists of Aguascalientes, where she gave conferences and provided training and supervision.
Mariana worked as a case manager for Cambridge Family and Children’s Service, where she provided Family Support and stabilization resources for families involved with DCF.
Mariana is a creative and compassionate human service leader with experience in team management, supervision, training, and curriculum design. She is bilingual in Spanish/English and considers herself culturally sensitive, with a strong passion for social justice, which is seen throughout her work.
She loves fostering animals, practicing yoga, music, and being outdoors with her dog.
After two years as a member of Families First’s Expert Facilitators corps, she took on the new role of Training Manager in 2020.
Today, Mariana oversees the curriculum and quality assurance of all trainings across our regions through her new role as Assistant Director of Curriculum and Training.
