Bringing Out the Best in Your Child

Category
: Universal Parenting Issues
Age range: all ages

The idea of bringing out the best in one’s children is a somewhat different approach to thinking about parenting than is typical, but what could be more important? Though parents may have different expectations for their children and a unique set of values they hope to instill, what they tend to have in common is a desire to help their children thrive- to bring out their best qualities. This workshop focuses on the many ways in which parents can make a big difference in their children’s lives—in how children believe in themselves, develop resilience and strengths, interests and passions, friendships and values that allow them to flourish and encourage their best selves to emerge.
