Families First Parenting Programs is a growing non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families through cutting edge parenting education and support services. We are looking for professionals with experience working with Latino families, who are interested in the field of parenting education, and would like to facilitate workshops. We are seeking to expand our programming to Latino parents by growing our pool of Spanish-speaking parent educators.

All prospective leaders go through an innovative, specialized, hands-on training process to familiarize them with the Families First philosophy and model. The skill and talent of our leaders is essential to the success of our programs. All leaders are hired on a per diem basis.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies, Child Development, Psychology, Education or related field preferred

· 4+ years experience working with children and/or families or 4+ years facilitating interactive groups

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Bilingual, fluent in Spanish

· Familiarity with the Latino community
